Rodrigo Mourao

Dr. Rodrigo Mourão has over 5 years of experience in non-linear structural dynamics of structures under extreme loading events. He earned his PhD in Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. His position at Stone Security Engineering involves risk mitigation, assessment of explosive safety and providing protective design implementing anti-terrorism/force protection compliance. His previous appointments at the Belgium Defense helped him develop a strong background on experimental blast measurement techniques. Other interests involve software development for blast engineering applications, ranging from the implementation of blast analysis tools to the development of graphic user interfaces to be used by the broad blast engineering community.
